What’s the difference between startup founders and entrepreneurs?
Entrepreneurship Nov 17, 2018
Entrepreneurs are likely looking at all sorts of problems and either thinking about, working on, or funding solutions to those problems. They probably are obsessed with the production / solution space, and more often than not have been a founder one or more times. They may also come from an investor side, and perhaps never were a founder, but are helping founders get their ideas into the wild or to scale by providing capital.
Founders likely have a lot of the same problem / solution finding character traits that entrepreneurs do, but they may or may not be an entrepreneur at heart. A simple example could be a technical founder who wants nothing to do with sales, marketing and go to market strategy. They can be a strong founder, but may not be an entrepreneur at heart.
